Win 5 Nights in Accra

1. Promoter

• This competition is organised and hosted by Ghana Property Finder.
• By entering, participants agree to these Terms and Conditions.

2. Competition Period

• The competition closes at 11:59 PM on 31 October 2026.
• Entries received after the closing time will not be included in the draw.

3. Eligibility

• Entrants must:
• Be 18 years of age or older.
• Provide accurate and valid contact details.
• Complete the required competition entry steps.
• Hold or be able to obtain a valid passport for travel.
• Be legally permitted to travel to Ghana.
• Employees, directors, contractors and immediate family members of Ghana Property Finder and companies directly involved in administering the promotion are not eligible to enter.
• Ghana Property Finder reserves the right to reject fraudulent, automated, duplicate or incomplete entries.

4. Entry Requirements

• A participant receives one standard entry by:
• Visiting and browsing the Ghana Property Finder website.
• Following the designated Ghana Property Finder social media account.
• Completing the official competition entry form.
• Participants may receive one additional bonus entry by sharing an eligible Ghana Property Finder social media post.
• The maximum number of entries permitted is two entries per person.
• Ghana Property Finder may request reasonable evidence that entry requirements have been completed.
• No purchase is necessary.

5. The Prize

• One winner will receive:
• One return Economy Class flight to Accra, Ghana; and
• Five nights’ accommodation in Accra.
• The prize is for one person only.
• The specific airline, flight itinerary and hotel or apartment will be selected and confirmed by Ghana Property Finder following the draw.

6. Flight Allowance

• The return Economy Class airfare is subject to a maximum contribution by Ghana Property Finder of US$1,600.
• Where the winner’s chosen or available itinerary exceeds this amount, the winner may either:
• Pay the difference personally; or
• Select alternative travel dates, routes or departure airports where a suitable fare is available.
• The maximum airfare contribution cannot be exchanged for cash and any unused portion will not be paid to the winner.

7. Departure Airport

• The winner may request travel from their preferred reasonable international departure airport.
• All flight arrangements remain subject to airfare availability, routing and the maximum flight contribution.
• Ghana Property Finder may propose an alternative airport or itinerary where the requested route is unavailable or exceeds the maximum airfare contribution.

8. What Is Not Included

• Unless expressly confirmed otherwise, the prize does not include:
• Visa fees
• Passport costs
• Travel insurance
• Airport transfers
• Local transportation
• Meals or beverages
• Spending money
• Excursions or activities
• Excess or additional baggage charges
• Medical expenses
• Costs relating to guests or additional travellers
• Any personal expenses not expressly included in the prize
• The winner is encouraged to obtain appropriate travel insurance.

9. Travel Restrictions

• The prize cannot be redeemed during designated peak travel periods.
• These include:
• December and the Christmas/New Year period
• Easter holiday periods
• Peak summer school holiday periods
• Other major public holiday or exceptionally high-demand travel periods where flight or accommodation costs are materially elevated
• All travel dates remain subject to flight and accommodation availability.
• Ghana Property Finder reserves the right to decline requested dates that fall within a restricted period and propose alternative dates.

10. Prize Redemption Period

• The winning trip must be completed by 30 September 2027.
• The winner should provide Ghana Property Finder with sufficient notice of their preferred travel dates to allow flights and accommodation to be arranged.
• If the winner does not redeem the prize within the permitted period, the prize may be forfeited.
• Extensions are at Ghana Property Finder’s sole discretion.

11. Winner Selection

• The winner will be selected at random from all valid entries following the competition closing date.
• Each eligible standard entry will be entered once into the draw, and entrants who qualify for the bonus entry will receive one additional entry.
• The draw will take place after 31 October 2026.

12. Winner Notification

• The winner will be contacted using the email address, telephone number and/or social media information provided with their entry.
• The selected winner must respond within 7 days of the first notification.
• Ghana Property Finder may request:
• Proof of identity
• Proof of age
• Evidence that the competition requirements were completed
• If the selected winner cannot be contacted, fails to respond within 7 days, fails to satisfy the eligibility requirements or declines the prize, Ghana Property Finder reserves the right to conduct a redraw.

13. Booking

• Ghana Property Finder will arrange or approve the flight and accommodation.
• The winner must not book flights or accommodation independently and seek reimbursement unless Ghana Property Finder has given prior written approval.
• Once confirmed, changes requested by the winner may be subject to airline or accommodation provider fees.
• Any additional costs caused by changes requested by the winner will be the winner’s responsibility.

14. Passport, Visa and Entry Requirements

• The winner is solely responsible for ensuring that they:
• Have a valid passport.
• Obtain any required Ghanaian visa or travel authorisation.
• Meet Ghana’s immigration requirements.
• Meet any applicable health, vaccination or entry requirements.
• Winning the competition does not guarantee entry into Ghana.
• Ghana Property Finder will not be liable where a winner is unable to travel because they do not meet the required passport, visa, immigration, health or other entry requirements.

15. Accommodation

• Five nights’ accommodation will be provided at a hotel or apartment selected by Ghana Property Finder.
• The specific property will be confirmed after the draw and before the winner’s travel arrangements are finalised.
• Accommodation is subject to availability and may be substituted with accommodation of a similar standard where necessary.

16. Prize Restrictions

• The prize:
• Is for one person.
• Has no cash alternative.
• Cannot be sold.
• Cannot be exchanged for cash.
• Cannot be transferred without Ghana Property Finder’s prior written approval.
• Ghana Property Finder may substitute part of the prize with an alternative of comparable value where circumstances outside its reasonable control make the original prize unavailable.

17. Third-Party Travel Providers

• Flights and accommodation will be supplied by third-party providers.
• Airline schedules, flight times and accommodation availability may change.
• Ghana Property Finder will make reasonable efforts to assist the winner but will not be responsible for circumstances outside its reasonable control, including:
• Flight delays or cancellations
• Airline schedule changes
• Strikes
• Severe weather
• Government restrictions
• Immigration decisions
• Force majeure events
• Other travel disruptions

18. Publicity

• Ghana Property Finder may invite the winner to participate in reasonable promotional activity relating to the competition, including photographs, video or social media content.
• Where required, such participation will be subject to the winner’s consent.

19. Personal Information

• Personal information collected through the competition may be used to:
• Administer the competition.
• Verify entries.
• Contact the winner.
• Arrange the prize.
• Analyse campaign participation.
• Marketing communications should only be sent where the entrant has separately agreed to receive them where required by applicable law.
• Personal information will be handled in accordance with Ghana Property Finder’s applicable privacy policy.

20. Social Media Disclaimer

This promotion is administered by Ghana Property Finder and is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X or any other social media platform on which it is promoted.

21. Disqualification

• Ghana Property Finder reserves the right to disqualify any entrant reasonably believed to have:
• Provided false information.
• Used automated or fraudulent entry methods.
• Submitted unauthorised multiple entries.
• Falsified evidence of completing an entry requirement.
• Attempted to manipulate the draw.
• Otherwise breached these Terms and Conditions.

22. Changes or Cancellation

• Where circumstances outside Ghana Property Finder’s reasonable control make it necessary, Ghana Property Finder reserves the right to amend, suspend or cancel the competition.
• Any material changes will be communicated through the competition page or Ghana Property Finder’s official communication channels.

23. Acceptance of Terms

By submitting an entry, participants confirm that they have read, understood and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
